Ron Monten was the power behind the pencil when television crash-landed in New Zealand in the 1960s. He shaped our cultural landscape by branding iconic New Zealand companies at a critical stage of their development. Creative work was real 'seat-of-the-pants' stuff - Fisher & Paykel's first fridge was simply imagined from engineering specs! Nick-named 'Cecil B de Monten' for his big-concept, big-budget style, Ron Monten's last national brand campaign was the Lion for Lion Breweries. Ron Monten's personal drawings are exclusively printed on New Zealand made GeraldineO.co.nz Wearable Art.

The biggest, toughest, most energy-efficent grass in the world, bamboo is surprisingly soft to wear because the fibres lie flat against your skin. ( It isn't made from the cane the giant pandas eat either.) Bamboo fabric 'breathes' with your body; it has natural thermal, anti-bacterial and non-allergenic properties that last the life of the fabric. This makes it a good choice for sensitive skins, for travelling and for looking good naturally. We choose to use this fabric for our adult tee-shirts.
Green Cotton
GE free 'Green Cotton' is sustainably produced in Pakistan and processed in New Zealand chlorine-free, with no toxic discharge to the environment. Quality 180gsm fabric is comfortable to wear and washes extremely well. Built-in UV factor 30+ for white, 40+ for coloureds. This fabric is ideal for our children's range of tees.
